Solutions for Pennsylvania

The United States is currently at financially dangerous era, with the current Debt to GDP ratio at 80%, this unsustainable. The new normal going forward will be the states taking the forefront by exerting their 10th amendment rights.  Therefore I am proposing ways to move Pennsylvania forward.

1.   Taxes

Pennsylvania must move away from our progressive tax system. We are advocating for the phasing out of all corporate and personal income taxes over the next 6 years, and put into place by legislation and Constitutional amendment a consumption tax.  A consumption tax will guarantee that everyone will pay the tax the more you consume in goods and services the more the tax you pay.

2. Spending

We want to reduce every department and state agency budget by a minimum of 2% per year. This will include the legislative staff. I will seek to reduce the current ratio from 11 to 1, down to 7 to 1 by the end of the term.

The only agency we will not cut, is the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs. Along with the Pennsylvania National Guard, We will assure our veterans get what they were promised.  We will keep those promises to our veterans by building new, and modernizing nursing facilities, and we will reopen, and revamp the Scotland School for Veteran Children.

3. Abortion

We are strongly Pro-Life. We believe that Life begins at conception .

4. Second Amendment

We strongly support the second amendment and will not support any law that weakens it.

5. Education

We strongly support, School Choice and Charter Schools. We wish to see every child have access to technology like, lap tops for their school work. With the current educational spending for the state evened out, there is currently enough funds to do this. However, if you break it, you bought it. We will advocate for a statewide school uniform policy to include all males being required to properly wear belts.

       6. Free Market Solutions

The economy and the nation are facing dire times. There are dark days ahead, but we are confident that the American people, especially the innovative people of Pennsylvania are the solution. The individual has pulled this country out of the breech before. In order to allow this to happen, government has to step out of the way and let them thrive. I purpose Pennsylvania a free-market zone. An area for small business to thrive through deregulation, freeing of credit to start new enterprise, and tax holidays for new and fledgling businesses.

We are fighters, we are survivors, we are American. We will not give up, even when things are bleakest. We will not back down. We cannot, for we are part of the light that shines from the last beacon of freedom for the world, the United States of America.

Signed,

We the People
